Apple has added an additional step when you subscribe to something on iOS, you will now have to confirm your subscription, this is an attempt to stop people be subscribed to services they didn’t want to.
Many people have accidentally subscribed to services by mistake and Apple is now trying to make it clearer by adding in another step. This should also stop people being signed up to things they were not aware of.
Whoa! Apple added an additional confirmation step for subscriptions. This new alert comes after you confirm with Touch ID/Face ID. I hope they address this in a more elegant way in iOS 13, but I’m thrilled Apple took a definitive step to curb scam subscriptions. 👏🏻 @pschiller pic.twitter.com/oktaEVdx0o

There have been some cases where some apps have signed people up to subscriptions without their knowledge, this has happened when some developers have abused the system, lets hope this added step puts and end to it.
