It doesn’t look like we will have to wait long for 100 megapixel cameras in our smartphones. As this week smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has teased a new 100-megapixel camera designed in conjunction with Samsung, they will soon be adding to their range. Earlier today Samsung officially launched their latest flagship Note smartphones in the form of the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10 Plus.
The teased smartphone camera will offer users 108 million pixels, or 12,032 x 9,024-pixel resolution photographs. When comparing the new 100-megapixel camera technology with currently available camera sensors, a smaller 64-megapixel sensor is capable of printing pictures 3.26 m high or 10.7 feet. As you might expect these more extensive photographs will also be a larger size and uploading them through your mobile data plan with eat through your available allowance.
Unfortunately, at the current time neither Samsung or Xiaomi have not confirmed any arrival date for the new 100-megapixel camera. But as soon more information is announced, confirmed or leaked we will keep you up to speed as always.
